When you installed Windows it would have asked you for an Administrator password. If you're lucky, you set that to the same thing you used for your own Windows password. Try logging in as "Administrator" with that password. If that doesn't work, try any other passwords you may have used when you did the initial install. Once you get in you can re-create your other account and stop using the Administrator account.

look at and download ntpasswd from http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/

It's free. And usually it's very difficult to delete the last user account, there is probably still an admin account hidden away, try username administrator with no password.
Log in as administrator without any password (empty box)

That is the default setting when Windows is installed unless the installer or you changed it.
For the user name, enter "Administrator".

For the domain, if it asks you for one, enter the name of your computer.

For the password, enter the administrator password to your computer.

You can't delete the administrator account, so it's still there.
How did you do that.

Windows will not let you delete the only user left.

There has to be at least one for administrator.

Did you delete your Documents and Settings?

You have to tell me what you have done.

Try logging in to the administrator account.... press CONTROL+ALT+DELETE to get the alternative login screen so you can type administrator for the username.

IF THAT FAILS%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;

Download this program and make a bootable CD:

With it you can re-create, the administrator account if it is gone, or reset the password if it still exists.

Email me if you need more help.
Hi there

Mystified as to why you would delete the only account without making a new one first but anyway there's a simple solution, Windows has a hidden administrator account. Assuming you know the password (if any) to the account you can access it through safe mode and create a new account..

To access safe mode keep pressing F5 before windows starts and choose safe mode then you can simply create a new account after logging into the Admin account, on a side note if Admin account has no password you should set one as it is a security risk not having one.

Hope i've helped
If it really is XP Professional, you're up a gum tree. The XP Pro setup asks for the Administrator password early on in the process. Can we assume you didn't install XP in the first place?

Workarounds: install XP again, in a DIFFERENT folder, thereby making it dual-booting, so you can access the file system, put the hard drive in another PC, etc.
Ok here is what you have to do. You have to reinstall your Windows packages. I mean all of them. That is the only thing you can do. Sorry mate it happened to me once.
