I have Windows XP Professional full version?

At the start of a full format and recovery there are 2 partitons: they are c drive and unpatitoned space. I want to create a d drive partition in addition to the c drive and unpartitioned space drives. How can I do it?

Choose the option unpartitioned space and it will guide you from there.

Best way to do that is through 3rd party software such as Partition Magic.
steps:

1.Boot from ur windows xp cd..

2.do the same things u did while installin the windows until u got the partition page..

3. just create partition in the unpartitioned space and then quit the installation.

4.it ll not affect your already installed windows
