I'm using windows xp professional and it forces me to save before printing .. .?

Is there anyway to turn this option off? I print off a lot of documents that are e-mailed to me that I don't want or need to have saved to my computer. It forces me to print anything on the computer that I try to print, not just in Word or Firefox. How can I get around this?? Thank you!

I'm not sure, but I suspect you want to turn on Print Spooling. You can start trying things here:

1. Click Start-%26gt;Control Panel.

2. Click Printers and Other Hardware.

3. Click Printers and Faxes.

4. Right click on your printer and select Properties.

I suspect this next dialog box varies with what the printer supports, so I won't try to give steps for it, but look for spooling options and play with them. (My spooling options are on the Advanced tab.)

A tip: Before you change something, you might want to jot down what you're changing from in case you want to go back to it.

Good luck.
