Most programs are started on startup in the "Startup" program folder on your start menu. Some on the otherhand start by the windows registry. It just all depends on the program.

GO to START menu

go to Run

Type: msconfig

go to startup

and uncheck the things u dont need
Try Mike Lin's Startup Control Panel. Free, easy install - put it on your desktop, no registry changes. Uncheck boxes to prevent startup. I recommend unchecking everything except your antivirus software.

Windows Key %26gt; Run %26gt; MsConfig.

You can easily uncheck programs and SERVICES which load when you boot.
Go to control panel open up firewall and uncheck whatever is poppin up at the begining
Try this free program, easy to use and warns you of any program trying to add itself to Startup and lets you decide weather to let it or to disable or remove it at any time, you鈥檇 be surprised about how many programs do this without telling you

I liked it enough to pay a one time fee for the plus version

Another option is to download Ccleaner

It has an added tools option where you can control startup items, as well as cleaning up the junk.
